***FLU CLINIC DIARIES ARE NOW OPEN***
We have now received our first delivery of flu vaccinations. All flu vaccination clinics for eligible Aspull Surgery patients will be held throughout September and October at the surgery.
ELIGIBLE PATIENTS –
- PATIENTS AGED 65 AND OVER
OR
- PATIENTS AGED 18-65 AND IN AN AT RISK GROUP (please see below)
***The main at risk groups include: asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, lung fibrosis, heart disease, angina, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, stroke, TIA, multiple sclerosis, diabetes (type 1 +2), immunosuppressed due to disease or treatment (eg. regular steroid medications, chemotherapy, myeloma, HIV). This list is not exhaustive and if you believe you are eligible for a flu vaccine please contact us for more information.***
HOW TO BOOK YOUR FLU JAB:
- Please can we ask that you contact the surgery AFTER 12:30pm any weekday to book an appointment.
- Please note we are anticipating a high volume of calls so there may be a delay in answering your call, we ask for your understanding and patience during this busy period.
- Please remember to bring a face covering with you and if possible to wear a short sleeved top for ease of access when giving the vaccination
***Please note there will be a separate update soon regarding nasal flu clinics for at risk children and for patients aged 50-64 and NOT in an at risk group***
